ExxonMobil Science Day at the Zoo Registration Form
Calling all science enthusiasts! Science Day at the Dallas Zoo is a fun way for teachers, parents, and students to discover their community’s world of science--from tracking an ocelot through the wilderness to exploring the science behind gardening. By participating in each of the fun, hands-on activity stations throughout the Zoo, you'll find new and exciting ways to bring science back to your classroom. Be sure to drop in to the free mini-workshops presented by Zoo researchers throughout the day, too. Additional community participants may include City of Dallas Storm Water Management, Dallas Museum of Nature and Science, The Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary, North Texas Master Naturalists, and Texas Discovery Gardens.
All educators will receive four (4) hours of Continuing Education Units as well as TEEAC credit. Pre-registered educators will receive (at no charge) a guide/CD of science activities, parking, and admission!
Bring your family along! They can participate in the activities too and earn cool prizes. Please note: family members must pay regular zoo admission, only the pre-registered educator receives free zoo entrance.
Student groups registering at least two (2) weeks in advance will receive the education discounted admission rate on the day of the event, so bring your students!
EDUCATORS: In order to receive free parking, admission, and an educational guide, you must complete and send in the registration form below. Please note: family members must pay regular zoo admission, only the pre-registered educator receives free zoo entrance.
Registration will open July 27, 2009 and close on Wednesday, September 23, 2009.
