Saturday Safari participants have an opportunity to meet with some of our Dallas Zoo experts! Classes typically take place during March, April, and May.

Spring 2008 Topics

March 1st, "Aquatic Encounters" at the Aquarium at Fair Park. From salt water to fresh water to somewhere in between, a variety of animals can be found in aquatic environments. Join us at the Dallas Aquarium at Fair Park to get an up close watery view of the H2O world.

April 5th, "Birds of a Feather"at the Zoo. What do you feed an Andean condor? How do you train a harpy eagle? Fly on down to a special encounter at the Dallas Zoo's Wings of Wonder to find out the answers to these questions and more!

May 3rd, "How to Hide an Elephant" at the Zoo Ever wonder how large mammals are uniquely adapted for their size? Come see for yourself when you meet a large mammal keeper and learn first hand what makes these gentle giants so special.
